Clients trying to connect to the Design Resource Group FTP server need to make sure they DO NOT have “Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility)” checked in the advanced properties of the internet options. If a client trying to connect to ftp.drgrp.com though Internet Explorer receives this error they may need to turn off passive FTP.

4. In Internet Explorer you will choose Tools ► Internet Options…

5. Click on the Advanced tab; scroll down until you see Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility) and uncheck this item; then click OK.

6. Repeat steps 1-3.
