First Ward DRG has been serving as the traffic/transportation consultant for an urban mixed-use project located within the First Ward District of Center City Charlotte. The Phase 1 development is for a 3-4.5 acre County park, UNC Charlotte 10-story classroom building of 145,000 SF, a mixed-use building with 225,000 SF of office, 100 condos and 8,500 SF of retail along with an underground deck of 450 spaces and an above ground deck of 400 spaces. Phase 1 is expected to be completed by 2011. |
